Maybe they should rethink letting the top 5 attack backwards. I am in or around the top 5, but I would gladly drop back a few spots to escape constant farming. Being able to claim my stakes outweighs the arena rewards difference between ranks 6-10 vs. 5 or 4. Of course, because of the bug that allows one player to follow me no matter what rank I am in arena, I don't have the option to drop back to escape farming.

A possible solution is that the top 5 are restricted to 3 total (not 3 on each player) attacks a day on anyone lower that they are. This would allow them to satisfy the requirements for the Assistant. Then provide a way that they could move down to a lower position (not sure what that should be, maybe a random between 10 and 30 or something like that) and if they do they will not be able to attack any one for 24 (or maybe 48) hours. Yep there should be some middle ground. Here's an idea: Create a super top-5 of NPCs that applies to all realms on a server. #1 in arena in each realm will be able to attack all 5 of these, #2 in each realm will be able to attack 2-5 (and the #1 in their own realm) and so on. This group of NPCs would be fair game to anyone who can reach them from any realm. Their stats would be based off of some formula multiplying the ranks of existing players. Basically it would give the top 5 all their arena slots, and the opportunity to have inter-realm arena combat with each other (since if player A sees that NPCs stakes were stolen by Player B, he can attack Player B through the NPC, without costing either of them rank), without creating a situation where someone is getting farmed constantly by someone they numerically can't beat.
To be honest, a fix for arena reshuffle would make arena a totally different ballgame and keep this from happening where people can and almost have to farm the same people all the time.
It says in the Arena screen there will be a shuffle every sunday.
I hope this will be set to work at some point, I am at number 1 in my arena and I only have 1 person not in my guild in top 6.
It automatically means that when I farm, I farm him.
I know it isn't fair to him that I get his stakes every 30 min to an hour, but it is my only option to get to gems too.
So Shuffle arena please?

The message says that arena resets on sundays is incorrect. Dawn has already state dthat ghis was left over form a previous version and that they have no intention of doing this.
Sp what if you have to farm the same people
or can only see your own guild.
You chose to go to number 1
and the chose to get where they are.
The biggest issue is some people can see ranks below them and some cant. That gives those who can, an unfair advantage becuase they can just stay the same rank forever and hit the same person(s) over and over to get stakes. Why are only some people allowed to do this and others aren't. As far as how many ranks higher or lower you see, that is sort of ok. But everyone should see teh same # of people above/below them except top 5 because they are top 5.
