The unacceptable "tough ____. Deal with it" reply I was given. Some business model.

    Greetings,

Your host is a VIP7 player, please wait for his return. If he decided to quit without relinquishing the host position, we can not help to reset the host.

    Regards,

Unfortunately it seems that your absent host has invested a lot of money into their account. That gives Tynon the impression he/she will return at some point.

I know this doesn't help you and your guild and seemingly a change of host seems a good idea. That said, you should be able to manage with your VHs. Not a solution agreed, but at least you can keep the guild running.

The response from tynon to wait a full month before they assist our guild is harsh,,, we now have a vice inactive for 7 days as well,,, our current active vice host has a job and family and can not be expected to be on 24/7 and do the job that was obviously set up for 3 people to share,,, we have all worked hard to make this guild strong and 50+ people ranging in all levels of VIP having spent time and money to build the guild are being told to start over or wait a month,,, the damage to our guild by people quitting the game alone never mind the threat of losing cities for buffs etc,,, this can not be acceptable,,, please help our guild members and paying and non paying members of your game that have supported the success and building of many new servers

yes he has invested a lot of money in the game but he also is currently living in japan for work and we have no way to contact him outside the game,,, one of our vice hosts has not signed in for 7 days and had discussed a huge disappointment in glitches and problems with the game,,, and there are many times that our active vice host just can't be on,,,

we know that a host has been demoted before to save a guild and the hard work and money spent of the members,,, SOL had their host replaced,,, we have other members of our guild of various VIP status i myself am VIP8 as well as our active vice host being a VIP8,,, we have several vip 7's and 6's and so on,,,

why is their real money spent on the game any less valuable then that of a single player?

THIS IS AN URGENT ISSUE, i would hope that Tynon could help us out with this issue sooner than later. to have to wait another 20 days for this issue to be resolved would be for myself and many other guild members to stop playing this game.

Our Host and VH return we would gladly restore their positions, however in the mean time we are stranded and i would like some help.

as the only remaining active Vice- Host i need to have some leadership help.

    Please advise tynon

Dear Tynon, your response is garbage!!!!!

For someone who played daily to someone who has not shown their face for over 2 weeks now does not lead me to believe he will be returning to the game.

i am certain that the money he invested does not total more then 1% of how much all the member of our guild have invested, including myself a VIP 8. I am the long host of any kind right now and would like the ability to make changes. If our host returns he can gladly have his position back but for now it is not logical to leave us stranded. I can literally see the frustration in our guild members and feel the interest level in the game dropping. it would be a shame to ruin a great guild who is a powerhouse on one of your first servers just because you are protecting the interests of someone who will likely never return to this game.

seems like a poor business practice to lose another 30-40 members in hopes of saving one that has already left.

your decision Tynon, but please make it soon because the list of 30-40 members will surely be shrinking soon.

We need a host in order to do that.

    Greetings,

If he is not on for 1 month, we will reset the host position.

Have you asked Tynon, politely, to please try to contact the host at the email address used to set up the account? They have the email address but no one else does so they are the only ones that can try to contact missing Hosts.

Have you ask Tynon if they would please assign some one as a Vice Host to fill the empty slot? This will not affect the right of missing Hosts if they come back,

not yet but that would be nice of them to do so.

probably a lot easier than reading our complaints on forums all the time.

This is not the first time this happens and it will not be the last. We need a mechanism to resolve these problems. I understand that Tynon has a legal obligation to preserve the investment of the Host in the Guild since the Host purchased the Guild with Gems. The problem is that when the Host goes missing there is no easy way to determine what the Host would like done with the Guild.

By their very nature online games are anonymous and the only people that have some contact information on a player are the administrators of the games. Part of the problem with Tynon is that when a user crates a new account there is no email verification done, at least there was none for me. This also leads to the problem of 'alt' accounts being created, a problem that has been discussed in other treads, since the only requirement to create an account is that the email address used looks an email address.

I think that Tynon should do the following:

    1. Set up an option on the Guild screen that is only available to the host that indicates which of the two Vice-Host is to succeed him as a Host if he is inactive for a specified period of time. This would be strictly optional but it would solve these kind of problems an the majority of the cases.
    2. When the Vice-Host of a Guild contacts them about a Host being inactive, send an email to the Host at the email address they provided. If the email address address is invalid (it bounces) then is is obvious that the Host either no longer exists or used a fraudulent email address to set up the account. In this case then assign one of the Vice-Hosts as the Host. If the email foes not 'bounce' then wait a reasonable period of time and if there is no answer assign one of the Vice-Hosts as the Host. If a new Host is assigned as stated , then the Disband button would be disabled to preserve the Guild and if the old Host does come back would become the Host again when they sign on.

I also think that Tynon should start an email verification program and do the following:
    1. For any account that has an invalid email (the email bounces) send a game mail to the user telling them that they have 7 days to provide a valid email address that will be verified or their account will be suspended until they do.
    2. If the email does not bounce the user has 7 days to reply they are in fact the ones that set up the Tynon account. By reply I do not necessarily mean a reply to the email. When I set up an on line account I usually get a verification email that either has a link to click on to verify or some sort of verification code that has to be entered somewhere to set the account as 'verified'.

If this is done it will insure that a an inactive Host can be contacted and it will eliminate the problem of having people create 'hundreds of alts'.

If they do this it will solve the issue of 'hundreds if alts' that has been reported on other threads.
