I wonder if the Dev's realize that some of us are smart enough to know that the odds of having the best Hero in the shuffle appear directly next to the chosen spot EVERY SINGLE TIME are very nearly the same odds of actually landing on the best Hero in the shuffle every single time...lol

The cards are an illusion. NOWHERE does it say that the odds of getting a specific hero from a specific group of 5 cards is 20%.

I know the cards are an illusion...my comment was to point out that it is clearly evident there is programming installed in how the cards are displayed after your "choice" has been made to make it look like you were "oh so close" to try and induce people into trying again and again when, in fact, the positions of the cards, either before or after the draw, has absolutely no affect on your outcome. Also, to point out at how insulting it is to have such programming in place and at how little thought is given to the average gamer to think we wouldn't be able to see through the sham.

I have also found that every time I find a legendary hero in the tavern it always seems to be either to the left or right of the card I choose after the shuffle. I've wrongly chosen too many cards for it to be just luck in my opinion. But it obviously doesn't happen to everyone.

always go to the side closest to the edge. for example if i get valla pop up and shes one card from the furthest right, i click the furthest right. if they are in the centre, go left. i find that works well especially with the female toons.

why also is it that it cost me more to refresh the cards than another player who is higher in rep but is also a vip 5. They have to spend less credits to refresh while it cost me more

it is rigged meant to b that way u should get a hero/card evry 1/25-50 or so with any luck

It's not rigged, Heaven Tavern is literally a huge game of chance. Take 5 peices of paper and write 1 random word on one of them. Fold them up equally and the same put them in a cup and pull one out. Your chances of pulling the slip of paper you wrote on is 1 in 5 and they all look the same so you can't be sure if you will draw the one you expect. Purchasing VIP Status does not increase your chances of getting a better hero either.

It's all luck, guess the question you should ask yourself is... "Do you feel lucky? ... Well?.... Do you?..... Punk"

Surely you don't think that's how it actually works, do you? Just because there are five cards on the screen does not mean that there is any relationship between those cards -- and the one you click -- and what hero you recruit, any more than rewards in the labyrinth depend on what card you click ... they don't. There is a percentage calculated for how often you receive each thing, and that percentage is far from 1 in 5 ... in the case of labyrinth tokens it is far higher than that, and for purple and gold heroes it is far less than that.

I thought it was evident from comments here that most people can't see through it. But what do you want? Tynon has to give you things with particular odds to make the game play the way they want it to, but they can't put hundreds of cards on the screen.
