He's at least VIP4 (Auto Refresh) so he can flip an extra card there. Guaranteed yellow either way with possibility of two total. If he's VIP5, it's guaranteed two yellows with possibility of three.

I got Adamanti, but if I has gotten Cornell I would have paid the 10 Gems to flip another card.

You can only buy one card or hero per roll.

Ok....so all of you Tynon workers claim that the game is not rigged. Then explain to me why would you place already recruited Blue & gray heroes THAT CAN'T BE SAINTED in the line up then? And if it's SO MUCH A GAME OF CHANCE then explain how the majority of the ppl here are experiencing the same thing? Heroes always to the left or right of where you pick. Explain that. I'm quite sure that you can't. Oh and to tell me that my choice is already PRE-DETERMINED is telling that the game is rigged then.

Think of it this way: the card you pick doesn't matter regarding the animation or where they end up.

You do not have a 20% chance of pulling each card equally, or the rate of success would be much higher. Instead, say gold heros have something like a 1% chance of being selected. Even if you have 4 golds and 1 white in the same roll, you still have a 96% chance of pulling the white card rather than one of the golds. It only appears to be an equal chance because of the visual animations and would be less frustrating and just as random if you got heros in the same way you rolled runes. The frustration is a result of how we connect the 'pick-a-card' animation to our expectations. It seems to defy logic, until you take a step back and realize the cards are just a nifty UI perk. There could just as easily be a big red button that you pay creds to press and one random card pops up.

A purple would be higher chance than gold, but still less than blue or white. The overall animation of the card you want moving left and right is a tease. There's only 5 cards, they have to go somewhere other than where you pick, and the fact they seem to always be next to the card you pick tempts you to pay the 10 gems for another try, even though the odds are still really low of actually getting one. Basically, the odds of selection don't have anything to do with your crystal-ball rubbing skills regarding which card to pick. Just like runes or winning the lottery, statistically the odds of picking one increase with the amount of credits you spend. However, the only way to really get the hero you want is pass up on useless ones to save spirit points. Alot of people get so excited by actually rolling a hero that they will recruit no matter who it is. Rhize looks good, but is he worth 3 mil creds just to end up back in your hero inventory once you have Adam? If you think the answer is no, 3 mil creds can get you more spirit points if you make the hard decision to pass up on him.

Essentially, planning ahead and managing creds goes a long way towards reducing frustration.

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

"I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: if you **** with me, I'll kill you all."

The heroes you have are not considered by the Tavern. It shows a random selection of heroes.

The way it's displayed (5 cards and you "pick the one") gives the illusion that we are dealing with a 1/5 chance to get the one we want depending on what card we select.

This however is as we all know NOT true, hence the game is "rigged", we do not have the chance that we are lead to believe we have.

If it was truly random and the shuffled cards accurately represented the 5 cards previously displayed then selecting the spot where the "good" hero that we wanted was displayed at first should net us an 1/5 success rate (one out of every 5 shuffles the hero should remain at its original spot), even accounting for some randomness in the variables of a small sample-size we should still see a LOT more hits by just clicking the spot where the card was (i know that statistically the chance is the same regardless where you "hit" but hitting the "old spot" gives an easy to track "pattern"). Also, as long as you don't "hit the old spot" the hero will still be there after the select making it appear as if the shuffle had left it in its old spot)

As it is now I'm about 1/30 for hits using the "hit the old spot of whatever i want" method, and that is extremely unlikely to occur in a true "select one of 5 shuffled cards. Add to that that multiple participants (if not all) are showing the same highly skewed results it becomes near impossible unless the game is rigged.

Not saying its bad, or that it shouldn't be, just saying it is.
