I always choose the center card so if the good hero moves randomly I should have a chance 20%/? of getting the better hero. 100% of the time now beta and live I get a crap choice that spells rigged to me.

its not rigged just luck it takes to get a purple or gold i got a purple todayits my first
The tavern IS rigged. Look at this statement from the wiki
You would think that the odds of obtaining a card in the shown set of 5 is 1 in 5, however this is not true. The deck is actually just an illusion and the card(up to 3) that you will actually receive (or not receive) is predetermined. The odds of flipping over a hero when it is in the deck you play is probably on par with obtaining a gold rune from the rune temple. It seems to be around 1.25% - 2.5% chance of flipping over the gold card.
My question is why are hero's we recruit still in there?
The gray and blue heroes do not make much sense to keep in there once we get them. With the purple and gold heroes if we manage to pick them again we can buy a card that gives them a stat bonus to one stat per card.
When i was on beta and the first few days of live, i always took the center card. I got one pink hero. At least 70 percent of the time the hero was in the same spot. So for the last week and a half i only click the spot the hero was in. Now 0 percent of the time the hero is in the same spot. Its rigged.
I'd be interested in seeing the equation used to determine which hero we get. Will never happen of course.
I also did this and came to the same conclusion.I selected a random card, not the one the hero was original at before I clicked shuffle. 50 times in a row, the hero did not move. Stayed in the same spot., So the did the next test, 30 times I got a purple hero i selected the same card, where the hero originally was, and guess what, he moved one spot left or right, but was never in the same spot as the previous 30. Rigged, I think so.

Tynon, probability - my rear end!
If this was probability (chance) having a 20% chance of pulling a card i want, means if i try for a 100 times i have the possibility of getting it right 20 times out of that 100. Let me tell you that for someone who has tried for many hundreds of times i have NOT even come close. Second point, ascending to VIP 5 and being able to select 3 cards out of 5 means I have a 60% chance, yes that’s right that great than 50%, guess what losers not even close!
Tynon's proclamation that it's chance, I say BULL$HIT! - It's rigged. it's meant to make u waist money. Think about it why else can you buy 2 mil credits with a whopping 100 gems.
