Set Bonuses

Hi all,

Just wanted to get some clarification on set bonuses, tried to search on forum and couldn't find anything. I noticed odd things occurring with bonuses. I upgraded my HB sword to a champion sword and lost the whole set bonus (6 pieces) but when I took the HB relic off and swapped with another hero that had apprentice relic, hey presto the full set bonus for HB returned. Prior to my own experience, I have looked at several other players' heroes and noticed that the bonus remains even if you do upgrade one piece of gear, the full set bonus is still highlighted on the earlier level pieces.

So my question is: if we upgrade one or more pieces of gear, are the earlier set bonuses still effective?

And why does it stop showing all bonuses when just HB relic is taken off but these bonuses reappear when apprentice relic is swapped for HB relic (this is with champion sword upgrade) ~ hope this makes sense for people.

The bonus is of the lowest piece of gear. So u could get a 6 set bonus for HB and a 5 set bonus for champions if all gear except spirit is champions. Even if u upgrade a single item to guardians u will still receive the 6 set HB and 5 set champ bonus

You need to look at the lowest piece of equipment to see what that gives you. There is a special situation. For example if you have a Hope Bringer Spirit and the rest is Guardian, when you look at the Spirit only the set of 6 will be in green and when you look at the other ones the set of 5 will be in green. That is because that is what you qualify for.
