It's not really for hard numbers (you can never be that certain when it comes to probability) but just to make sure that our ingrained negative bias (our brains are designed to remember negative events more clearly than positive ones - a survival trait) as well as other biases (like confirmation bias: we tend to remember events that fits into our previous perception of the world) aren't affect our perception of probability. Because unless it is a huge difference like in Tavern cards (only one or two purple/golds after several dozen if not hundreds of attempts with at least 1 purple/gold card, as opposed to the 20% which it should be) our estimates are clouded, quite a lot.

Also, it's not really that lot of work: my destiny stats for two lvl1 easy labyrinth attempts just for today.

    Lose 4 moves: 1
    Lose 3 moves: 1
    Lose 2 moves: 1
    Lose 1 moves: 1
    Gain 1 move: 2
    Gain 2 moves: 1
    Gain 3 moves: 0
    Gain 4 moves: 3
Go back (force return to original): 6
    Move twice: 1
    Reveal Grids: 3

That's already a sample size of 20. Took me like extra several minutes in total (from something like 15 minutes needed to do one lab) to alt-tab to notepad to write results every time I step on a destiny tile?

If people keep recording their results, any changes will be picked up quite easily.

In fact, I'd say that it is a very good safeguard against any changes that will make this thread outdated. Not to mention that anything in this thread or in the wikis can be changed without a warning anyway. So by that logic everything we do to record what happens in the game is useless.
