Thread: Guide to the Labyrinth - Relocated

Has anybody done any math for guess the number? Theoretically the best way for these types of games, you use the golden ratio. But with the point system as 1-7 guesses = 30 points, 8 guesses = 20 points, and 9-10 guesses = 10 points, adjustments should be made.
Right now I do something like this:
    . 300
    . 400 200
    . 440 340 240 100
    . 460 420 360 320 260 220 140 40
    . 480 450 430 410 380 350 330 310 280 250 230 210 160 120 60 20

(the number on the left is what I guess if it's higher and right is if it's lower... have no clue why I organized it like this)
This gets me a range of 10 numbers after about 5 or 6 moves... normally.

I'm wonder if there is a way to maximize the odds of getting the number within 7 moves (which my way doesn't really do). Mine makes it fairly likely to get 20 points and almost impossible to not get at least 10.

Edit: ok.. chart messed up, I'll fix it later.

    I just use 1/2 ratios

I knew I should have come back to read on the discussion before doing it! I lost an opportunity to score 700 points because of that :-(

Thanks. I updated the guide with this info.

Having trouble accessing that. I can't see the tabs, but I see a section on guess the number but it only shows the first guess. By the looks of it, it's pretty similar to what I am doing.

Something else I've noticed is that the easy levels give better destinies than the hard levels. Hard levels give more traps though, and it is actually pretty easy to hit 700 while avoiding destinies (try to use the old memories on the quiz thingy).

You need to download it to use it.

Does anyone know what other differences between lvls/difficulty apart from the type of spirit plans dropped? As in the probability/amount of tokens/diamond/gems etc.

The only other difference know of is that in normal more of the monster tiles are 'pits' (20 points) that in easy and in hard even more that in normal.
