Ryver disbanding

The Guild RYVER had a internal fight. the host STYX quit, he appointed JustinJ in his place. STYX then talked or bullied JJ in to hitting the disband button. JustinJ then quit and left Merrcrio as host. Merrrcrio tells us that once hit the disband can not be stopped.
One of our members Mafia was a host for another Guild and says that when she hit the Disband button a CANCEL button came up. When she hit it the Disband stopped.
The majority of members want to continue as RYVER. We ask that you declare the post of host abandoned and appoint one of our members as host , in order to stop the Disbandment.
Please help us to survive as RYVER.

Since the original post was written, Mercurio allowed STYX to return as HOST to ensure that RYVER will be disbanded. Mercurio resigned from the guild after doing so because presumably he felt bad about presiding over the disbanding of a guild that so many people worked so hard for and invested REAL money in. With the return of STYX as host, the remaining guild members can not even communicate openly in Guild chat concerning our plans and options.

The remaining members of RYVER do NOT wish for our LVL 4 guild which we all worked so hard for to be disbanded by a host who is acting like a little boy who wants to take his ball and go home (STYX).

We ask that you remove STYX as host and appoint CrazyPegLeg as host so that we can top the disbanding of our Guild.

Time is of the essence as the disbanding will be completed by 10 AM Eastern Time.

I would just like to start by saying the guild was named by me and created by me. The Host that started the disbanding was only acting on my desires and was not bullied in any way. In fact he resides in the same guild I will be going back to. The Host that I replaced was put in the Vice Host position and was only carrying out my desires as well under no persuasion. But because of the negativity he was receiving in the guild and outside the guild, I told him I would come in and complete the disbandment. The guild and I have been getting a lot of disrespect and harassment for quite some time on chat. I felt the best thing to do was to disband the guild and hopefully quell some of this anger and ugliness that resides over it. Most of the top investors have already left and investors that make up 85% of the investments in the guild want the same action and disbandment as well. They can be asked if you wish to ask them. The guild has no more real funds and purpose and this group of players that started this thread are ready to start their own guild elsewhere, and have currently started planning it (as "plan B"). Frankly I just want it to go away so it doesn't make others rise to ugly occasions of disrespect and I feel that is my choice as I created it. The Host of a guild is free to do as he wishes. We're not going to intervene unless someone is violating the ToS. You may not like what the Host of a guild is doing, but there are lots of other guilds out there that you might like more.

I am wondering why the 12 hour cooldown applies when my guild is being disbanded? It does not seem fair that I have to wait when this action is being taken against my will.

If you waited for the guild to be disbanded then you wouldn't have a cooldown to make a new one. Since you left before it was disbanded, you have the cooldown just like anyone else. There's no way for the game to discern motives.

Thank you again for your response. The remaining members of RYVER waited until the guild was disbanded and are now showing that they are facing a 12 hour cooldown before they can join our new guild. This makes no sense. is this a glitch or are the rules different for starting a guild versus joining a guild upon disbanding?
