There are a lot of people with this issue. It doesn't seem to be linked to any particular boss either.
I sent a message to "billing support" as instructed in the forums, the response from them was to wait for a patch and hopefully you will be reimbursed your losses or missing rewards.
I have a friend of mine who is VIP 8 who was told the same thing... he is rather perturbed. For once, I'm glad I'm only VIP 2.
