Thread: Possibilities for ingame added content.

  1. #1

    Possibilities for ingame added content.

Ideas in this post are not mine alone, equally shared about with (Dragonian server 2,Guild: Hellfire)

1)Making the mains special attack for the main character up-gradable but not to anything extremely overpowered such as stun specials (ambush) or full AOE (thousand strike). and making it so once you have purchased 1 or multiple of the specials you can toggle which specials you have unlocked and purchased that you choose for each battle, but not able to use more then one in the same battle, this would create further possible customization and individuality into each battle as well as adding more strategy based battles.

example could be: set in tiers and how you achieve them and the cost to receive them.

basic special nothing upgraded=driving blow(very common) <- "()"= rarity of the special attacks them self.
    tier 2=sweeping slash(common)
    tier 3=dervish attack(uncommon)
    tier 4=piercing thrust(super rare)
    tier 5=continuous rage(legendary)

    tier 1 you start with.
    tier 2 cost= 1 side quest,lvl 35, 5 mill coins, 2.5m creds, sacrifice 1m experience
    tier 3 cost= 2 side quests,lvl 55, 10m coins, 5m creds, sacrifice 2m experience
    tier 4 cost= 4 side quests,lvl 75, 20m coins,10m creds, sacrifice 4m experience
    tier 5 cost= 8 side quests,lvl 95, 40m coins, 20m creds, sacrifice 8m experience
(ARE NOT deducted every single time you gain any of the resources, you have the option to choose if and when you want to sacrifice them and your progress of sacrificing doesn't have to be at one time it keeps track of how much you have donated in and shows the progress you made towards the skill attack upgrade you're working toward and unlocked. CAN NOT skip one upgrade have to go through each upgrade to reach the next one. you wont be losing experience you already have gained, only when you toggle experience to be sacrificed before the battles or events instead of them going to your experience bar, they go to the progress bar for the current skill attack you are working on/for.)

After beating the last side quest required for each of these specials, you can return back to the person that assigned the quest. and can pay with installments.
(full toggle options) the coins, creds, and exp sacrificed. should be able to be toggled. before any battle or event that can reward with any of these 3 resources. so you can decide if you want to sacrifice this on one day or that on another or go days where you don't feel like sacrificing any resources at all. (obviously numbers could be adjusted to however the population of the game is more suited)

2)Further possibility for in-game content. could be hero customization. a fixed rate of cost on hero customization with the color or graphics effect around ones character at a cost of gems, coins or creds. 100 gems,10m coins,or 5m creds for the ability to choose these PER hero. so if you paid 100 gems you can choose the color of your adamanti's armor,or graphical display like the fire at the bottom on the ground when morale is full could instead be a dark flame or smoke rotating around your legs at a upward swirling angle. or how the colors of the special attack itself are displayed.

3)A additive event for any given day of the week (dragonian chose a sunday) where you can play a side quest/for vsing a boss and choose a plan to get that you might have trouble getting, so you pay 50 stamina and defeat the boss for a plan you need. not able to pay to have more then one attempt and limited to 1 plan.

    4) Plans inside arena,as possible rewards from chests. randomized by the highest boss beaten and that single set of bosses. so if i've beaten minister lascivius in HR i can get any IH plans up to cloak from the chests. but make them a rare occurance, not something you can just get from a chest once a week. maybe as rare as getting a lvl 2 chip from a chest or something.

    5) Rewards for using forums. I feel there is not enough people who use the forums and are active on them. you guys want to make a better game or want our feedback most on what you guys do with the game. then make a possible rewarding system to reward people who actually use the forums the correct way and are active. and having a community team that consists of more then just a CM and 3 forums moderators that can look through and respond to good ideas or achievements within the game.

Some MAY not agree with this post, some might. it is just a few general ideas that would seem cool to have in the game. and main heroes need something to make our hero stand out from the rest of the white heroes in the game that have the same exact special attacks as our main does. the Main character is by all means a Legendary hero,so why not have something special about its attack like the rest. no thrashing Tynon not stressing them. Would Enjoy seeing alot of peoples feedback (POST below please, not in private messages.) on this thread good or bad. constructive criticism friendly

The special attack idea sounds interesting. Not sure I full understand it. I would switch dervish and sweeping slash, since dervish is on purple hero and sweeping slash is on a gold.
Not sure if the devs would be up for the programming.
It would definitely make things more interesting in PvP not knowing which special attack the opponents leader could be using.
Also I think this additional attack could be tied in with the morale bar for activation, so a normal morale bar give syou normal skill attack, while an orange or red bar could activate the upgraded attack.

The customization features are all excellent and, many of us want to customize, hopefully this will get added one day.

agreed the specials could be switched around for which is what,me and dragonian only chose sweeping slash as the first, because we didnt want it to be a very powerful upgrade for the very first part. it should grow in use for each upgrade you do. without making it too overpowered overall. and the overall is you open up the 4 extra specials attacks you can use,BUT you can only use 1 of the extra or normal driving blow in a single fight,as using multiples might be a bit overpowered. but you can change what you want to use as you see fit to prepare for fights.

and want it to be a long term thing to work on not something people can instantly buy and get ahead of people with,so thats why lvl requirements and experience sacrificing were added into the mixture. you slow down your growth process/level process to gain in the long run by making your main more special and stronger.

Matt- the reason sweeping slash is also first was because sweeping slash is more common, its on a purple and gold hero. so adding this at the start is good for people new and just begining to play, makes it a dead first progress for us that are farther in the game. but still a good sacrifice for anyone and more rewarding for what comes after it.

I would LOVE to see the upgradable skills introduced. Also, the idea for customization of heroes is one I've long been asked for in forum. Rated thread ↑

loving the idea, mechanics would need some tweaking, but idea of leader being more special is a great idea, sweeping slash is available on 2 heroes making it more common than the rest if this idea came into game would stop at continuous rage with my leader.

I'd like the idea of changing your main hero's special ability, but Continuous Rage would be too powerful and the least strategic, IMO (get full morale, decimate? There's no strategy in that).

Sweeping Slash and Piercing Thrust are both good and are distinctly good/bad based on your enemy's formation. Good strategic possibilities here.

I'd also propose special abilities that can reduce physical or skill defense on the affected target(s).

Other possibilities would be Shield Wall, a magical version of Shield Wall, or a skill that increased the morale of all your other teammates (Rallying Strike would be a good name for this one) by 20-40.

Another possibility would be a skill that did zero damage but recovered health to all teammates, or perhaps only teammates directly around that hero in the formation.

Finally, a skill that allowed the hero to protect the teammate with the weakest health from damage for a turn would be pretty sweet.
