    Question New heroes for major and above

    I remember reading a tread a while back about the possibility of new heroes being created for Major and above but I can not find it to see what the outcome was. The reason that I want to know is that I have been saving my spirits to buy them. Does any one know if there are any new Heroes coming any time soon?

    There are new heroes coming. I've seen the designs for some of them, and they're pretty cool. No ETA yet. Its up to you whether you want to wait. It could be awhile.

    I'm going to guess with no ETA that means at least a month or two. Have to account for any remaining dev work, balance testing, stability testing, and any other considerations such as final artwork, cost to recruit, likelihood of finding/getting in the Tavern, etc.

    Some or all of the above may be done but it's all stuff that has to get done before even one hero can get out the door, I would imagine. With no ETA I'd say that leaves at least 50% of that to do.

    I must have missed this update and I wish I had seen it sooner. I spent the 3k Spirits I had saved yesterday . I will start saving again.

    An idea I considered for a new mage hero would be something of a semi-targeted skill, where it either hits X number of weakest health heroes (say the weakest two or three by HP values), or first hits the highest health hero with lots of damage, then the weakest 1-2 heroes with decreasing damage. This hero would hit more often than Smoulder since it wouldn't be complete AoE. This hero could potentially affect the Morale of the first hero it hits as well (reduction by 35-40 or so).

    I like that idea a lot. Also I like the idea of another stun hero, moral or mage. I will admit that we do need another mage available, badly.

    Riffing off the idea of twins, how about twin mages that act as a single hero?

    Either alternate attacks (an ice attack that could slow/stop morale gains or halt the hero's use of skills/magic for a turn, as well as a fire attack that dealt lots of damage up front, then a few small hits of damage over the next turn or two), or actually give this mage a morale bar, where magic attacks from each twin builds up the bar, then once it reaches 100 morale, the twins unleash a powerful mage attack that can have secondary status effects such as stun/morale reduction or stat reduction (e.g. reduce enemy's magic, physical, and/or skill defense by a certain percentage).

    I realize of course the morale bar for mages would be a departure from current mechanics, so it likely won't be implemented, but it would be incredibly cool. Also, twins would be cool because the opportunity to explore a "combo" type of attacker is interesting.

    only just my 2 cents, i have gotten through some of the missions and last boss i fought had 'wild abandon' continuous rage with chance to stun.
    New boss has 'vampiric strike' (something like that ) and it builds morale, and skill hits does damage and recoups some health, maybe 1/3-1/2 of damage done.
    Will double check later on second boss.

    That's quite interesting..

    hopefully something similar will be added. New heroes, new skills would be great.
