Riffing off the idea of twins, how about twin mages that act as a single hero?
Either alternate attacks (an ice attack that could slow/stop morale gains or halt the hero's use of skills/magic for a turn, as well as a fire attack that dealt lots of damage up front, then a few small hits of damage over the next turn or two), or actually give this mage a morale bar, where magic attacks from each twin builds up the bar, then once it reaches 100 morale, the twins unleash a powerful mage attack that can have secondary status effects such as stun/morale reduction or stat reduction (e.g. reduce enemy's magic, physical, and/or skill defense by a certain percentage).
I realize of course the morale bar for mages would be a departure from current mechanics, so it likely won't be implemented, but it would be incredibly cool. Also, twins would be cool because the opportunity to explore a "combo" type of attacker is interesting.
