    Santification Failures

There is obviously something not quite right with this, out of the last 7 cards I've got, 6 have failed, my last one just now was on cianna with a 80% success rate, but considering the last two failed, that is hardly an 80% success rate.

None of my heros have a high sanctification, so the success rate is relatively high, but 6 failures in 7 is not right.

I had a 90% success rate and it failed for a hero card (Cianna). Got it on the Tavern Tuesday. I got another card (Calvin) and had the same 90% success rate and that one succeeded. So... 90% success is now the new 50%

My guess is that the success rates have been reduced now that you can get cards for free from the tavern on Tuesdays. Save up gems, my guess is that paying 100 gems will give you the chance for success. Lots of guesses but this game is a lot more about luck and chance than anything else unless and until you break out the credit card.

But what I really like are that they adjusted the spirits. Now I can get a hero versus having to wait for luck to win it and then pray I have the credits to buy it.

Lots of guesses --- we'll never really know.

The sucess rate is simple to understand.
It is for that attempt and that attempt only

SO if its a 90% success rate. Then something like this happens. A number between 1 and 100 is generated. If it is 90 or lower you succeed. If is 91-100 you fail.

If you fail, the next attempt is calculated the same way. Nothing is changed because you failed before for the exact same thing at the exact same rate. Nothing is changed because of other successes and fails in other things.

Now because of this method you could fail at 90% forever. Statistically that would not happen. Statistically you should succeed within 11 attempts at a 90% rate. But even a statistician would tell you it could take much more then 11 tries.

The success and fails are not cumulative or linked to each other in any way.

This is about the only explanation to the results most of us have seen in game.

The fail rates have changed, yes cards used to fail before, but only recently have they been as bad as they have been.

Success rates are the same as ever. Sometimes you get bad luck, and sometimes good.

!00% should not fail right? I have a guy in my guild that bought insurance for the fail at 100% and it failed him 3 times... I don't understand how this is possible...?

I think it's quite the failure that someone would spend 100 gems as insurance against a 100% chance of success. If it failed at 100%, your guildmate should enter a support ticket because that should not ever happen.
