One day I saw one player get 3 Vitality Runes in a 15 minute span of time and several other players were getting yellow runes as well. Of course I try and get maybe 2 purples. Bout the only time that I find the banners annoying, its like taunting you into trying the rune temple.
yesterday and today about 1/2 the time all I get is a green or blue Rune from the old man.
The drop rates of all runes and fragments are the same as the day Tynon launched.

Not sure I agree, because the results I have been getting for the past 2 weeks is drastically different then the results I got the first couple weeks. But since Dawn actually responded then I will right the rune temple off to just strange luck.
Dawn, any chance you will tell us if there is anything we can do to effect drop rates for runes and frags?

One or 2 more questions
1. Is the code for the randomness of say the rune temple completely separate or is it linked to other factors in the game - such as how lucky you are in tavern- as to prevent someone from being lucky in both at the same time
2. Has the hardware that runs the actual code been changed in the past week. Different hardware could generate different random numbers hence why it seems like we have totally different drop rates lately.
Almost no software systems use hardware based random number generation except the most sophisticated Cryptological hashing and reverse hashing specialty computing platforms used by such agencies as NSA etc. Most pseudo random number generators are simple hashing functions using software based fast mathematical congruent linear shift algorithms. Even if they went from 32 bit servers to 64 bit servers or higher the effect would be just more stochastic randomness (less statistical patterns) that we would never see in the few thousand rolls of the digital dice we see daily. It would take hundreds of millions of rolls to see patterns in the data.
Anecdotal accounts suggest that we can assume that they have nerfed things again at least a few percentage points - probably to cover the expense of the bennies we see in the new Weekly Events good-deal bone they threw to us recently (i.e. discounts on chests, faster cool down on talents/blacksmith etc.). Its' probably a net-zero sum game if you play 24 hrs to avail self to every new promotional they have initiated.
I'd be happy just to KEEP the runes I build up and not have them RANDOMLY go missing...
Getting lots of dupe yellow runes but fragments are hard to come by now. Nothing more insulting than getting the veteran rune guy up in the rune temple to only get a blue rune. Just silly and banal game sequencing. Minimum rune should be purple if no frag is awarded...
I had a run today where I spend 65Kk and got 30 Frags. I have a feeling it is more to do with the time and luck and nothing to do with it being nerfed.
Would be great to have an exchange posibility where you can switch runes for frags, since at some point you only need frags and no longer need purples and yellows.
