Thread: Attacks in the Caribbean

Thumbs up Attacks in the Caribbean

There seems to be a lot of people that attack players that are extremely lower than they are in power. I know that you mainly cater to money players, i am one them. I also have none money characters. I believe that the rules of the Caribbean should be the same as the rules of the Wilds. In the wilds, we're only allowed to attack those within a couple hundred k's lower than ourselves. Most of the players I know are tired of being attacked at sea by those who have million's more power than they do. Can you please do something about this??

I take it you are kidding. They do not cater to money players. They now cater to whiners and wussies. If they nerf this game anymore I will get more pvp action in Farmville.

I'm sorry, I'm not whining, kinda sounds like you are though. The point is, there are plenty of higher level players for them to attack. There players that are still learn to play this game and have really low power. One of my guys is level 41 with only 256,731 power who got attacked by a player with 2.9 mil power, now honestly, does that truly sound fair? I'm not saying that there should be no attacking in the Caribbean, only that they limit it a little. In the wilds, your only allowed to attack those higher than you or those that about 200,000 power less than you. That's all i'm asking.

And that is why the devs made it so you get half rewards for sailing up front. To give something to the lower level players who at least try to sail. And that includes half the gems on Saturdays. Or id you fail to notice that part?

Our lower levels get sunk quite often too. Which is why we 2.9 mil n and up guildies will sink any ship we can with a matching map piece to get our lower powers across. Sail your littles with your bigs. If your littles want to risk it and sail together, that is their choice. And if they have a map one of the bigger players needs to sail a little across, they sink. And get half rewards.

I vote to keep it the same. It's quite fair now for all involved.

I've gotta agree wth Batty, they already get half the rewards for even setting sail, which on saturdays means 5 gems. there are some days that i dont make it across at all, and sometimes that there are people more than 3 levels below me who have me beat in power who would not be able to sink me because of a limit, and vice versa. It's been changed enough if you ask me. Next thng you know someone will be whining that attacks in pirates should count toward PvP limit.

I agree that attacks in the Caribbean should be limited but not with the same rules as the Wilds. This is what I would propose:

    • On the Dock (not sailing) for less than 5 seconds, one level lower than the attacker and above. Gives them a better chance for the partner to board.
    • On the Dock (not sailing) for than 5 seconds or more, three levels lower then the attacker and above (same as the Wilds).
    • Sailing, at least one of the two sailors is three levels lower than the attacker and above (same as the Wilds).

The only thing I'd like from this is preventing attacks on a boat for 5 seconds after boarding to allow for two people to make it on for a sail. Other than that, I wouldn't affect sailing.

U put level caps in they will lose money from the bigger guys coining to get more sails.
Easy option not to get sunk. Grow in power. What the actual game is about.
