Does putting Sapphires on a Mage's Spirit help the Mage?

Adding a morale rune does not add power to your over all power meter, but they do have a benefit to battle

So just because it does not add power,does not mean it does not add a benefit.

I think it would be reasonable to state that Morale runes are the exception, not the rule.

If anything we still have runes that grant power when they probably shouldn't, like Critical chance for mages.
