Like it says, I have the chip, but the drop down for the slot in the cloak won't allow me to select the L4 diamond in my inventory, tried to embed from inventory as well and no joy either only the option to sell appears, Bug or ploy to get VIP status YOU DECIDE!

Move the diamond from your bank to character inventory.
Refresh and check to make sure there really is a slot available.
