    I have a Beef

I am not very happy with the way things are with the BIG Characters here in Tynon. I was thinking that they should have to fight the same level of players because they had the race to top already. And another thing toooo is when your in Sailing mode that should apply as well. They should only be allowed to sail once a week. These smaller Characters like myself have troubles even getting to other side without having some big dude come in and One swipe its over. I try very hard to get where I am.
Guess what I am trying to say its just not fair that they can continue to slam the little guys. I am not only speaking for myswelf on this one. There are many that I speak to that feel the same way.

Once a week? Sorry, that won't happen. Keep trying hard. It takes effort, not easy sails across pirates, to be a good player.

The developers have stated that it's intended for getting across the Caribbean to be difficult. It's the major boundary to getting King's Bounty each day for most players, hence the difficulty.

There are a few strategies to pirates, some that have been covered here in this forum, but I'll restate the main one... The larger players in your guild should help the smaller players get across. I'm not huge by any means (7 mil power where the top player in the server is over 30 mil) but I make it across at least once daily (normally). It isn't the easiest section of PvP in the game for sure especially when every time Deucalion sees me im fish food lol... but strategies like the one i stated does help the success rate. Just keep pushing to power up and focus on teamwork and you'll get there.

Honestly, us "bigger" (12m-15m) players have a rough time as well. Mel had a target painted on my behind for 9/10ths of her time on this server. She would literally wait till I set off, and then sink me, making sure a sail was wasted instead of just robbing me. Instead of freaking out, I would work to get even. The players bigger than myself don't always like easy maps, so they sink the largest player they can find, normally me lol. There are days I don't get any sails, and some days I get all 3+. There are certain times I simply don't bother sailing, like when our server's 30m player is out. Another good tip is to use the Naval Battles log to count how may times people have gone across. This way you can have some idea if they may be hovering over the shore waiting for a map. The key to pirates is your Guild. You need to be in a guild that has several top players so they can help get you across. VillianX is a good example. The last few times I have seen him, he is sailing with that 30m power player Even this late into this server, 4 friends from Evony just started here and are less than 1m power and all of them get one sail a day minimum. Timing is important. Try to keep from blowing up when you get sunk. Breath in, blow out. Good luck, you'll get there.

like villainx said, even we, the medium players get sunk, sometimes, a lot. it sucks, but o well, its part of the game and if you do make it, yay! once a week is totally unfair to the bigger players whom have worked hard to get where they are.

Us 'Big' players cross our lil guys across the seas to prevent them sinking, so u could always find a good guild, and get one of the bigger guys to help u cross.
Just an idea rather than changing the whole game to suit your needs, we already get punished enough by the ever growing costs to do stuff.
Over 5m credits for a gold card. 5k rep upkeep a day. like 4-5 days cooldown on talent or blacksmith upgrades. constant need to keep going just to keep ahead of the person behind you, while you guys just come to forum to complain about the hard life of a smaller dude, well guess what, we have been there, and instead of complaining we got on with it and that is why we are where we are.

You know boo there are days when your signature is so true i have to laugh. And this is a perfect example of it.

And pirates is not mandatory unless your in a guild without GWF or you cant make it for GWF to get kings bounty. Theres lots of days i being i think #27 or 28th(9.1m power) on server get across 3 times without that 30m players help. And days when i get a ride from him just so i get across once and days i get sunk 3 times, and days i take 3 smaller players across. There is strategy to it. Just have to find what works. And what works today doesnt always work tomorrow. You have to evolve with the game.
