Palace proposal... what would peoples think of it?

Hello all, after thinking about ways of helping new players to a server into the palace, and having fun doing it instead of providing a way of increasing the gap between strong and weaker players. I came with an idea that would make things a bit more competitive for the weaker players, and more decisional for stronger players. The only players capable of reaching the strongest layers of palace are normally the ones having their statues in there. They already have all the rewards from the arena spots, they already win most of the verberus and baal events, they already win most of the ragnarok events and so on...

The palace could be the place for the lower ranked player to get some rewards and fun. One of the way that could occur would be by preventing players who are selected for the palace statue to participate into the palace event. Why many would ask, well simply to make it so weaker player can participate, have fun and stick to the servers.

Barring the ten players who have the statues in the Heaven Palace doesn't help the weaker players in this event and takes away one of the few challenges the bigger players have in the game. I see nothing in this event that needs changed.

If you can't beat the bigger player's statues, you still won't beat them if the bigger players don't participate... I don't see any reason to change it. Either way you look at it, HP is not an easy challenge.

we on server 53 have figured out a way so everyone has a chance to possible beat the palace. we have got it down to a science that the top 5 people from each realm power down after GW which is to say at 600pm pst 900 server time everyone in top 5 spots power down to a basic single hero ours with no clothes or runes on what so ever. then between 6pm and 8pm pst (9pm to 11 pm server) they "tynon" takes a picture of all three realms and decides the ten best. 3 from fire 3 from water and 3 from forest then the last one number 10 is a random choice of the 4th spot in arenas. this has worked so far and it is a great was for everyone to get a chance to beat the palace.

There is no reward for top players who make it to palace. They only win what anyone gets in passing levels. Yes, they get farther but there is no way to make a lower powered player able to beat them other than boost offered. In Ragnarok there is no reward for making top 10. All players earn the same, which is credits and reps from participating. There, too, boost is available. The test in palace is to see how far you can make it, and to see form, heroes, etc. Rag is a crapshoot to see how far you get on full power - that's all. This call to make low higher accts even up so low accts can accomplish the same defeats the purpose of building up and acct. Unfortunately the game is getting watered down with it already.
