Thread: lost power

  1. #21
Hello everyone and Dawnseeker. I am not making my posts unreadable.

I use the black/red forum color scheme.

Apparently this makes my text color white to people not using the same forum scheme?

    How can I change this?

I made this post GREEN so others can see it.

Using the other forum color schemes do not display well on my computer and my head hurts when too much white is seen on screen.

Also, I have used this black/red scheme ever since I started posting and it has never caused me any issues before.

Andy, change your forum scheme to the black/red one. See if you can read my posts then.
I cannot use a black font since I won't be able to see what I'm typing.

I can't use a white background since it gives me headaches as my eyes are sensitive to too much light.
Also, I've never had an issue like this in the forum before. And I've used Tynon-Dark color scheme ever since I registered.

I use the Tynon-Dark color scheme which is white text on black background. I can see mine and everyone's posts quite fine. I have always used this color scheme, not sure why it's causing issues for people today?

In any case, one thing I have noticed:

    • Your Power is a formula that measures your strength for a basis of comparison to other players. It is informational only. Power is not used in any battle calculations.
    • Everyone is under the exact same power formula at all times. No one passed you or has any advantage over you because of this. So everyone saw a slight dip with this patch and everyone will see a slight bump when we compensate.

Sorry if there was any worry, and we are going to fix it, but this will not affect combat or gameplay in any way.

I noticed that even if the power values are different now, heroes and monsters seem to deal less damage now all across the board.
For example, my Adamanti used to deal 80k damage (critical thousand strikes) to the minotaurs in Act 2 easy mode.
After today's change, Adam now only deals 71k, everything else being the same.

I upgraded Blood's level 32 Spirit to Champion giving him a set of 6 in the process and added a level 5 chip to it. My power went down 10k. A refresg did not change it. This is absolutely ridiculous. Dawnseeker and others say that that is just a display issue, but how do I know what my true power is so I can do a quick comparison to the other players?
