How about changing it so that ANY two maps will do and get rid of the Left Right requirement?

I forgot to mention-- some of those people there are lower level players but no one is stealing anyway because a left map is useless to all guilds!
Saw something similar a few nights ago on server 1, tho it didnt take up every boat. Nobody was robbing and the people who were sailing were getting in left map first as to make sinking them useless.
By the way he is referring to server 58. It has been that way for two days now.
Yeah...I think the problem is either:
A) The maps are randomly generated..which means equal odds of being assigned any map, and due to the dice roll no one happens to get a right or
B) Maps are evenly distributed, but the rights assigned to the 'ghosts' who hop to other servers and leave their shells behind
This seems to happen more and more the longer a server goes on, and the less people sail in general. I think it would be a much better fix if you just got a map piece, and any 2 of them worked together. This would promote the fact that guilds are working together to sail, while reducing the impact of ghosts on a server.

Sad thing is, this is easily fixed. Just make the map fragments generic so all you need is two people with map fragments, not a right and a left. So the person can click on either end of the boat.
plz dont do that then even more alts will be used to steal maps from like on my world
It's been three days of lefts now on Server 58. Something needs to be done to fix this issue. It's especially worse on High Seas Saturday
Dawn I am lucky to get one sail a day in and I am ranked first on the server so has nothing to do with being sunk. Everyone on the server is getting LH maps since the last patch here on server 58. Please look into this issue.
Also the suggestion to simply create a map piece and not a LH or a RH would bring more action to pirates and give everyone a chance to sail. Something to think about.
The distrubution has been awful on server 8 the last two days as well.
