Dawnseeker is wrong. In out Guild we have been getting about 2 to 1 ratio each day since the last patch. Over time it should be closer to 50/50.Originally Posted by mattp169

Just confirmed that smaller guilds are getting opposing map pieces that we need, but they don't have room to get on a boat. This pirates issue will go away if everyone gets off the boats so smaller players can try to sail. We are getting no where with all the boats full. Give pirates a chance, and stop hogging the boats. I am speaking to my guild as well, the few that have boats are making pirates unplayable for everyone else. Please, if you don't have a teammate with an opposing map, get off the ships!
lmao evilside i dont think u right on that. from 30 players with a right side in same guild only 2 in there may have a left as u can see that already so dont be saying its the player holding the boats when its not!!

This is the picture on beta - full ships with all one side, just different people/guilds. The number of left sails are so small that in two days only a small handful of people have sailed. Then someone sticks a right side in again. There is no chance to let anyone sail IF they did find a rare left. You can't give away maps, to get new ones and since they carry over through reset, i don't know how long it will be until this changes. I don't know what Tynon did (i can guess) but Pirates is screwed now. Almost every ship is a top player, and few can steal from them nor want to to only get another right that can't be used. WTH is gonna happen now?? So sad its nearly funny.
But most of the time the smaller guilds do not even bother to try to sail even though they get 1/2 the rewards up front, so they getting the opposing maps does not help.
Actually, I've been across already today. And helped about ten people sail. I know it can be done, but until players stop being greedy with the boats, it won't ever end. How hard is it to get off the boat and let other people sail? It's pure greed is all it is... People may think they have to be the first ones to sail, and gotta hold a boat so no one else can get it. Truth is, its taking longer for you all to sail, simply because you are not allowing others the chance to sail at all, decreasing the odds of you ever having a teammate that can snag a map why? Because there isn't anyone sailing, just camping on the boats.
[SUGGEST ADDING A TIMER TO PIRATES] - so people cant sit on the boats all day and shut down a portion of the game which we all want to play but cannot due to blockade on the ships.

As, you can tell from this picture, server 2 is not suffering from this problem...

Yeah, my post was about BETA, server 2 is totally different, so many more there. BETA is small, and that's where the blockade is. And it has some successful sails, but obviously the trend is almost all maps are 1 side on any given day, with the opposite side being rare. All i'm saying is that this is not a change for the better.
