What's wrong with this picture? (everyone is getting only left maps!!)

Well, it's not just beta, server 1 is the same way. Ten different people at any given time holding all the boats hostage, not letting anyone else have a chance to sail. What's the point in sitting on a boat when you have nobody that can find a map to get on with you? You not only hurt yourself, but your guild as well by doing this... If nobody can get on the water, nobody can get sunk and get rid of their map pieces. Sure, some people think it looks cute, but this is really annoying the hell out of a lot of people, and its a select few that are guilty of it. I'm urging those people to jump off the boat and wait until it's "THEIR TURN" and let the rest of us get on with trying to sail. This blockade is costing everyone on the server, not just the ten people who can't find a ride.

If this continues they might as well just remove pirates from the game altogether and nobody gets any rewards from it. That's what's is happening anyways. Even the top ten players will eventually just sit there on a boat praying someone logs on to check if they can even get a different map piece!

well this is definitely becoming an issue when big players aren't making sails do to lack of R maps ...i suggest that u change the sailing all together and set it up like u have the sails set up basically u can only sit on the shore for 10 minutes at a time and only be able to sit there 3 times a day same as ur sailing sails take 10 minutes and u get 3 shots problem salved no one will attempt to block the seas by sitting on the shores if they have a time limit for the activity jus sayin

We could always solve this is the simplest way. And tynon roll back the fix they done to seas. And hopefully that will stop what has happened now?
They fixed it so we didn't miss out on the extra stuff from our guild buff. But it's only a partial fix because the player still needs to refresh. So a simple roll back and problem solved.

Also maybe not changing the way we play the game mid server would also help in these matters ?

There's nothing wrong with how pirates is now. Like EVILSIDE has said, it is the players who are blockading the shore.

If Tynon didn't change the game mid-server, then the game would be incomplete. As you can see, the levels are only until level 100 at the moment.

- No reset of health on 2nd fight

- Naval log

- Half start / half completion rewards

- Fixing of the 6 sail bug

The Tynon devs have made it clear that the game is an evolving and changing one, and that we must adapt to it.

No one has the matching map. It doesn't matter. Everyone else has your map :P

Very few people are being prevented from doing anything. Can't use your map. Can't get rid of it.

How about this one? We actually had more Lefts, but not enough boats.
I believe I've been holding the same map piece for the whole week.
EVEN IF I claim guild benefits/pull a map out of guild chest it gives me the same damn side.

Please Dawn, can you look into this?
Last two days its all Lefties on server 8.
There's always been more of one map, which is no prob if you ask me. That makes it fun.. you have to be smart about dailing looting and sinking..
But now the ratio is so bad its barely possible to sail. Other guilds just get lefts too.. and it won't change later on the day. The Rights are very rare.
And it's barely impossible to get rid of a left cause no one wants to loot them or they have already claimed them.

Please at least check it out?
is it just that there is a huge amount of bad luck involved? idk.. i hope it changes fast then. Cause this is no fun..
