What's wrong with this picture? (everyone is getting only left maps!!)

When your whole guild fills up with the same map, you'll figure it out. Destiny has it, that if everyone makes left boats, eventually there won't be anybody left who CAN steal a map to sail with YOU. Shoot yourself in the foot, fine by me. Claim isn't resetting maps, the midnight reset isn't changing what half of map you get. Downward spiral, to add in the fact that guild chests won't change your left to a right map. If no one can drop a map, no one can sail. Maybe you personally aren't guilty of holding a boat all day, but there are those who are holding the boats hostage so that NO ONE can sail. If players continue, there won't be any point in even playing pirates. Might as well shut it down completely, because the greed of a few, its ruining that portion of the game for a whole lot of people. Sink me all you want, but let me at least get on a boat for crying out loud so we can play.

Actually, I understand what you're saying. What I'm saying is I don't believe alot of people doing it are involved in some kind of conspiracy, rather that they are willing to take the chance of losing the map or sailing while afk. With the current map problem, holding onto it is pointless, as anyone who has a right map will be finished sailing long before daily reset, and there's alot of people in guild chats that will sit there for hours and keep asking "so any right maps? so any right maps?"

Basically, the only chance some people have who can't be in game during the day is to park like a taxi and hope for the best.

evil in the past 2.5 hours i have seen uprising make at least 8 sails. I saw more completed earlier in the day
I see at least 8 people in uprising steal a map, and uprising have about 6 maps stolen and one uprising ship sunk

in fact i see in 2.5 hours on server 1 - 18 sails and 38 maps stolen and this is during a slow part of the day 3:30 to 6pm eastern time approximately

I'm sorry, EVILSIDE, but you're still missing the point. There's no actual blockade on our server. If you ask, a spot will be freed for you if you actually have a match. The matches aren't happening. We park for exactly the reasons a previous poster said: We're sick of asking if anyone has the non-existent match. And losing the same piece everyone else has is hardly a bad thing. My guys log in, check the seas and jump in if they can. If there's no boats, we do something totally crazy. We ask. Nicely. We have yet to be told no.

Worst yet, everyone with high power levels just sit at the docks all day long and don't let other players use the ships. Tynon should limit the dock setting to a specific time period (ex: 15 minutes). Hopefully this issues is resolved soon.

58 almost everyones still getting LH maps! i get one everyday and it is getting old.. Some of us go days without sailing because of shortage

Well me personally i do not care so much about the Sail rewards..
But the whole sailing thing used to be fun.. and helping someone else across. Loot a map, let them steal yours if you have the wrong one.
These days you're lucky enoough to be able to board.. hehe.
And then you can wait and wait and wait for a Right. There rarely is a Right sailing.. no noob with a right can board cause all slots are filled.

Meh.. i certainly hope this is not how CP will be.. cause it's no fun any more..

I was lucky enough to get a rightmap this morning and guess what? Tynon thought that 2 ppl in the entire guild having a right was just too much so i get another disconnect. I log back to see whatever work i had done in the previous 2 minutes had been reversed, so i had to claim again and guess what? I got a lefty which i can use since theres only 1!!!! person in the guild who had a rightmap.
If dawn thinks that theres not a problem fine, but at least give a random mappiece when you finally do get a sail since everyone is making leftmaps due to the massive shortage of rightmaps. This will at least give a couple more rightmaps over the day and more ppl can actually make a damn sail...

because people are trying to dump maps and noone is stealing lefts. everyone is afraid of left maps like they are a virus or something.
