To me, this really goes against the whole idea behind warfare in the first place. It's like winning the first battle then complaining about the enemy changing tactics.Sort of how the Spartans got their butts whooped at Leuctra by the invention of the flank attack.
In my mind, this is what is driving the uncontrolled expansion of servers. It's competition drying up and hopeless odds against entrenched opponents on the earlier servers that lead to the alt army constantly forming on new servers in hopes of better odds. So, while it's nice if you're part of a server 1 uber guild with no hope of ever being beaten, the consequences of that system are being felt everywhere else.
I understand it's human nature not to let go of entitlements, but I feel like the issue to be addressed is how to make the game sustainable in the long run. Tynon can't please everyone, and I don't feel like it's helping when the only justification for batting away any attempts at change turn into a "hey kids get off my lawn" argument.
