Please Bring Cross-Realm Guild Wars to Servers 1-9

I play on several servers (9, 53, 70), and I must say that the later ones with cross-realm wars enabled are much more fun.

I like the benefits from owning all the cities up to level 6, but I, for one, would be totally ok with just resetting all the cities to neutral and having a cross-realm free for all. Is that all that's stopping this from happening? I'd like to hear other players thoughts on the matter from the early servers, but I find it hard to believe that most players would not be behind this. It would encourage much more competition, and it seems like it would both be more fun for the players and make more money for the overlords.

On my server it basically allows one guild to dominate things unless all the smaller guilds fight that one powerful guild at the same time, which they don't. Therefore, this one guild monopolizes the cities and is becoming ever stronger and those guilds behind them are more and more unable to compete. It's honestly rather aggravating and hurts the realms which have had strong players depart for greener pastures in the stronger realms.

I completely vote against this and wish instead that servers 10+ would adopt Guild Wars in the manner that 1-9 conduct them.

In my experience, the weaker guilds do team up and attack all at once. They certainly do on 53 and 70. I can't understand how in the world one guild could defend 10 cities at once, but even if they could, that server must be pretty darn dead anyway.

You are in the minority. Most people do not want 1-10 turned into 11+

And 1 guild can easily defend all cities on a server with the current makeup of 11+

Servers 1-10 have a completely different makeup the 11+ so saying it works on 11+ so it should work on 1-10 is not always true.

People on 1-10 spent lots of real money, hard work, investments, and used strategy to become the top guilds in each realm. Changing 1-10 GWF to the same model as 11+ throws that all away.

Which pretty much happens when über guilds evolve. Players just give up altogether or try again on a new server.

I tend to agree the seperate realms keep the server alive. Somehow more players stick around if they have a better chance at enjoying the buffs.

But as Matt as already pointed out there is already a feedback thread discussing this very subject. So I will be closing this one.
