It sucks!! It was a bonus for spending. On our realm we larger players got more guildies across with it. Many are not big enough to steal maps, either by sinking or onshore, so when they get sunk that's it for them for the day. And since assistant requires a completed sail to count, they often could not make it without. Now we all know that you don't have to sail to meet assist, but then you MUST make either a GW or banish. Since banish are timed during the workday, or in the middle of the night for aussies/kiwis, some can't always. Yes people got sunk, but that was the whole design of Pirates and was fun! And i honestly don't think it has made it more fair for little ones, it's the mid- to high powered guys that benefit. I wish it would be reinstated. Specially for Sat sails so more could make the gems.
Besides, we paid for that. Tynon made money, and we contributed to the guild by doing it. Was at personal expense. Now Pirates is like rev's and all the rest that are limited, less warlike and cater to small accts. PFFFF
