    Capturing Cities

    Just a heads up about Light realm. TynonNo1 has four of the five cities. If we grab the fifth tonight, we will not have anyone to attack. This will prevent the guild from participating in Guild Wars unless someone attacks us. This affects how we receive awards for daily participation, among other things.

    EDIT:
    If all lower cities are held, could a guild attack into the next tier even if they lack the necessary guild level? Otherwise, you are penalizing success...

    Is it really success if you have no opponent, though? Its not really penalizing your success if you don't have to fight anyone for the cities in your case.

    Without an opposing guild, 100 funds wins the challenge regardless, meaning you can save more funds to level up to 4 quicker.

    We did fight another guild once. They attacked us and died horribly. They failed to capture the open cities that they attacked. Now we have all five cities in light realm. Nobody remains that we can attack; our only fights will be to defend.

    Tbh i don't see anything wrong with that

    Though you're right, in that inter-realm guild warfare should be a nice addition

    I wonder if its a good idea to let a single guild capture multiple cities.

    That would limit success even more. If you had one city, there would be no reason to attack another unless moving up a tier.

    Well, this is a good idea. One guild can only have a max of 2-3 cities(or base it on the level of the guild). They can perhaps release a city, to capture another one.

    Dawn, iDeadly just defended 3 cities successfully this evening while attacking for a 4th. We had great participation and team work, G.Warfare is still new considering no Guild has gone up higher than the 1rst tier of 20% rep. I don't think you'll ever see 1 guild owning all the cities, considering the more cities your guild owns, the more spread out your defense will be. Strategy was a huge role in our success tonight, I think other guilds should be able to have the chance to do the same.

    If you cap all the cities that is a success in it's own and you are gaining 100% rep so don't get greedy about it. You can participate in baal/cerb to get your daily bonus.

    If you put a max amount of NPCs a guild can hold, I wouldn't limit it at 1 at all...atleast 3 :P

    no guild should be able to hold more then 3 at 1 time
