Is it possible to have Server merge?

Merging servers would mean destroying and re-arranging all the guild cities, arenas, and leaderboards.

Not to mention all the account and database migration and updating.

So no, its not possible.

This is incorrect. The cities are all the same and the only thing that would need to happen is for all owners of cities to have to rebid and fight for it again as all the fields within the merged DB would be reset. The tricky part is to merge the DB's from the two servers, but this is done in many enterprise and it is not that hard to do. It would take a good DBA to write a good script to automate this.

The leaderboards would just need to be merged and when the DB get's done with it's merger, it just recalculates the tables. Not much work here. The Arena would be non-impact as well. Just would be reset based on the merged players.

The only thing I would think is that if a server has 3 realms and another server has 6 realms, this would be much more work than just merging two servers with same realms. Account migration is easy as well since they too reside within the DB.

I for one would never leave my server if money was invested. People will just quit and stop playing before they do dumb things like move to a new server start from scratch.

I agree what I posted 2 months ago was inaccurate.

I believe server mergers are possible, and are needed, especially by those dying servers with no more than 20 people active in them ​total.
