Minister Lascivius seems impossible !

I have been trying to defeat Minister Lascivius now for quite some time. He has just over 4 Mil. power. I started trying to defeat him when I was just over 3 Mil. power and level 57 or so . He averaged about 5k to 8k per hit to all my heroes. I am now just over 4 Mil. power about = to his and I am level 63 now . I have added plenty more health and magic defense to my heroes, I pretty much focused all my talent gains on Third Eye and Constitution. Strangely enough he still hits an average of 5k to 8k on all my heroes. I am at a loss to explain why he hits just as hard ? His damage output seems to be locked at the same amount. Could he be bugged or glitched ? I would think there should be some amount of decrease in his damage output after leveling and building the proper defenses to his magic . Any suggestions and help is very much needed . Thanks ! Happy Hunting !

Power isn't everything.

Minister lascivius does have quite a bit of attacking power but he also has quite a bit of hp. You will never defeat him if you only focus on building up defensive power. Pay attention to whether you can get a critical hit on him or not and if you can what heroes have high enough crit rating to do so. Pay attention to whether he dodges or blocks alot. Pay attention to if you ever dodge his attacks. Change your runes according to observations regarding those 5 stats.

Change morale runes to minimize wasted skill attacks early in the fight (using driving blow against an enemy that would die in one normal hit for example).

Change up your formation to most effectively wipe out the underlings and still get attacks in on lascivius. Also if you have shayd, I would recommend using her if at all possible.

There's a lot to consider when trying to beat a tough boss and I probably only scratched the surface.

I beat him probably when I was 3 mil power give or take.

First of all Thanks for replying to my post I have tried many formations and even many different hero combos . I believe I have the heroes to get the job done they just cant survive his attacks long enough.... My main concern is why does he hit me just as hard from the time I started to now ? there should have been some diminished damage taken ...no ? You have given me some good advice, I will most definitely benefit from thanks The mystery still remains on why his damage output remains the same after 6 levels and a lot of defense increases .

Minister Lascivius primarily deals magic damage. Boost your cloaks and chestguards and get some Messiness runes going. If you think he's tough wait until you start trying to take out the Heroic Realm version of him. He runs 30 million power and is no joke to deal with.

Congrats, I think you have found another one of the boss hidden abilities. For this case, your def wouldn't help much. Try adding health, dodge and block, and hit hard enough. Shayd's stun is always compulsory. Use bloodstorm for its added advantage when he's low HP

Kill all the other minions while Shayd keeps on stunning him.

Well thanks to all your advice ...I finally beat Minister Lascivius ....I used some Magic Defense runes and played around with my formation also put in Adamanti ..... and Shayd finally put in a good effort ! Thank you all
