Tavern and VIP5

Ok, we all know that the "pick 1 card out of 5" does not represent your chances. However, on the rare occasion, 3 out of 5 cards is are purple/gold. Since VIP5's get up to 3 picks, does this mean they would be guaranteed a rare card? I had 3 gold cards come up, but since I was only vip3, I couldn't test this. 60 gems to get a gold card would be worth it. Any VIP5's ever come across this?

I've not tested it but it's a rare occasion when you'll have three cards you'd want. More often than not the third card that you'd draw would be Alexa or something it would seem. That's not worth 60 gems. At this point in my game it's not even worth 10 gems to flip if I'm showing Adamanti and Blood. With Tavern Tuesday I'll just spend all my credits on spirits and get the card for free in two weeks time.

I had 4 Gold cards once, but I got one of the ones I wanted (Adamanti) on the first try so I did not have to use any Gems.
