As I said, i believe the key lies in talents... specificly attack talents... spend some time getting ahead on attack talents, then when you are catching up your defensive talents, only upgrade your offensive gear (weapon staff spirit)... These are the times I have noticed an increase in banish att power... do the reverse, and watch your overall damage go down... Bloodstorm is the main one to watch in this situation, as he is the extreme, BUT it shows evident in all heroes, especially phys ones.

see here is more proof there is something limiting the damage you can do .
Between yesterday and today's cerebus I gained about 1m OFFENSIVE power All of my heroes were doing more damage per attack today then yesterday.
Yet I did less damage today. And it took us 2 mins longer so that means everyone did less damage or we had fewer people, which would have gave me more opportunity to do more damage. SO something limited all of our damage ability. And its not just stuns. it could be something causing the stuns rates to change which is the entire limitation.
Because if my heroes are doing more damage today then yesterday per attack yet i do less damage that means my stuns were fewer today. So why are my stuns going down? Is it randomness? Is it luck? is it because I powered up and the game reduced my stun rates in banish? Is it something totally different?

I've noticed that with Cerberus I stun more easily than with Baal. My numbers are consistently higher with Cerb than Baal, and I boost the same on both encounters. I have no real reason why that is, it's just something I've noticed. Perhaps it's because Baal has more people involved than Cerb does most days. Maybe it's easier to stun with fewer people, IDK.

I think Baal and Cerb's Stunnablility may be calculated by the total amount of players, each individual person's talents, gear and overall power/ability and prolly about 10 other factors. Either way, we know the chance to stun these guys changes from event to event. It would be interesting to know what factors those were, because then you may be able to improve your chances to gain more damage, etc. Personally, I hope we get the 1b Bosses soon. Imagine how many coins and credits you'd make per event, assuming it's even stunnable.

I also consistently do less damage in Baal than I do in Cerberus. I had been chalking it up to the fact that more people are usually online for Baal.

I am not sure about the ability to stun being limited, but it is definitely a possibility. I'm also hoping for a mega Boss soon. It will be interesting to see if not only his HP goes up exponentially*5 but if his ability to be critted dodged and stunned is affected also. It could very well be the case that those stats ARE affected, seeing as going from the 10 mil version, to the 50 mil version, up to the 250 mil version the stats did adjust some.

On a different note, next week I will be testing the attack talent theory. I plan to only upgrade offensive weapons and defensive talents to see if this causes gain in damage dealt over the entire week, then the next week I will do the reverse, upgrading only offensive talents, and defensive gear. If the damage amount stays the same over those 2 week periods, attack talents can be ruled out as the culprit...

    This is not true.
Over 15 mins on Cerb today I did 16mil damage.
Over 15 mins on Baal I was already up to 22mil damage.

It is and always will be completely random. Like how 1 attack I can do 430k then the next I can do 5.6mil.

I was speaking over a long term period of observation, not just today.

And yes, I agree with the randomness of stunning.

But all machine-generated randomness has patterns over a long period.

    Not true either.
