Thread: Guid Warfare planning... again

  1. #11
I am quite frustrated with the chronic issues with Guild Warfare, especially when the server hijacks my battle planning and changes it so that my guild loses a city. Another thing I'm hating lately is how the challenging guild can walk right past us when we are garrisoned in fort D without a fight (where we should have stopped them cold because we have A LOT more power). It's a laugh how the forts are populated with ghosts and nannies (NaN players).

I know right? I need to start an account on another server. Our GW is ALWAYS Garrison at B - March to A - We Win. Always has been for each realms top guild. I feel cheated.

NOW you see why inter-realm wars is needed on servers 1-10.

It probably would if anyone actually cared. To be honest Herby no one does which is why everyone is happy to leave it how it is.

Related Issue to this: Guild wars glitched on Servers 3 and 45. Not moving or fighting properly.

same here...planning glitches have cost us almost every city...for example planning for 2 people to be in a city against a weak guild...and ending up with half the guild there instead and losing the other battles...every battle is a complete dice roll on who ends up where...i've submitted a ticket and all i get is "tynon is aware of this glitch and is working blah blah" canned response...looking at some of the threads many glitches have been around for months...along with the threads such as banner removal that went by the wayside...maybe this game wasn't ready to go live when it did, but a bit frustrating wondering where all the updates are, or what product the money spent here is actually getting..for the amount of money being thrown around in here the sloppiness is inexcusable imho...

yet again the assignment glitch strikes...2 tickets and the same response, yet there seems no movement towards a solution...certainly the "agility surge" method of fixing things shouldn't take months, should it? it's not very agile or surge capable if that's the case...

what are other people doing to get around this?

to put it in perspective, i'm in a guild that has the top 4 players on the server together, along with a majority of everyone in the top 50 server wide...there's absolutely no way anyone should be beating us, and it used to be a "garrison B attack A" pattern for a long time...magically the glitches appeared, and the number of cities has dropped from holding every single city on the server to barely holding 2 or 3...the vices and host monitor the assignments all the way until gw starts, but its become a joke...the first action taken on turn 1 is just to figure out who the heck is in each city...we can't even plan around leaders of attacks or defenses, or plan between actives and afk defenders...

I wouldn't mind if it affected all guilds the same on my server (30) but I seem to be the only host with this problem - put known afkers on to defend and they inevitably wind up attacking - the only ones who are defending are the ones who are on at the start.

The only solution I've found is to not assign anyone on attack. Put everyone on defense.

It might be an issue of afkers following the host's assignment - they go where I go. I need to do more experimenting.

Still - it's clearly not a situation of players going where I assign them.

same here, it doesn't seem to affect everyone..drawing patterns it seems to inflict the top guilds more than others, based on the different server's i've played on..for the one i'm on now it's not just the afk defenders, it's everyone..one theory running around is that the "glitch" won't be fixed, because it's an equalizing measure similar to HR boss/cerb stat lifts, and similar to a higher rate of gem stakes/leader card drops in the weakest realms..i.e., if 1 guild dominates a server it's more likely to go dead..a few key losses here and there keeps things alive, and the competition going..

reference that in less than a day the random daylight savings issue with GW occuring during Rag was fixed..pretty much an immediate solution..yet most of these GW threads are months old, and you get no response from customer service other than "we know about it..sorry for the inconvenience.."
