It's because people are bored silly, but loyal to this game, invested in this game and asking for another reason to keep spending and playing. Throw us a bone.

EDIT: Stunning is getting old.
Turn the new servers into your own expansion pack. Last challenge was "The Guild." Take a few friends, no coining just beginning rewards. Divide between realms. Who's on top in a week.

Next Challenge: King of the Hill. Same concept: no coining. Same realm, 1 arena. Who will be standing?

Your other character will still be there. You can always go back to focusing on it if something changes, but Server Surfing is actually a good way to enjoy the Tynon world without being bored, or continuing to dump money into a bottomless well if you're perceiving the returns aren't equal to the investment.
