i upgraded my hero dawnbringer to 2 stars few hours later it went back down to 1 star again !! , refreshed too many time but still same

I upgraded my hero Bloodstorm to 6 stars: I got the message it succeeded and even got shown the new numbers for upgrading to 7 stars (20% success rate, 2 stars lost on fail). One minute later I noticed Bloodstorm suddenly only had 4 stars. I reloaded, but the problem persisted. I tried another upgrade and now he has 5 stars again.

lost 2 stars, got 1 back on retry (6 medals used)

I'd like to have Bloodstorm to 6 stars and 3 medals back please since that's what was I lost due to this bug.
