Agree...I don't think anyone really means ill intent. A "community" is most useful to work out problems and issues, which is why communities exist. If there's enough pattern to the issues people are having it leads to potential changes in solution. It's basically like a straw poll or focus group. If the same issues are coming up over and over that would seem to be a friction point that would be better served addressing it rather than stuffing it in the closet. Hard to find examples where repression of speech has really ever worked at all, it just gives the appearance of lacking transparency imho.
