Yes, this is true. I have spend money in here as well and I think every player actually wants to know what's going on or maybe a little update, but I understand where you're coming from.

Is it ok to air that?
    Yes, I'm fine with that.

You see, a forum is a discussion board so opinions must be displayed and heard, some people's opinions don't know how to express it and they mean no harm, but sometimes they curse and that's fine with me- I just edit his post and remove those words, but to close a thread, for me, is my last resort unless is like, bad in there.

I think Morgan was referring to the connotation of the words.

Ahh so if we say something that a mod believes in connotated improperly it will get closed. And obviously by threads being closed and reopened its obvious we we have two mods that dont read things in the same context so we are left at the whim of the mods, threrefor i should be a mod and then we can at least have a 2 out of 3 agreement on things between the mods

And this is exactly what Morgan is referring too- And because of users like yourself, is why we close threads.
So next time a thread is closed, don't blame the Mods, blame your friends.

Get a 3 day break from forums. Time for you to stop being respectful and rude.

I don't see how that quote is rude. Just stating that he feels the 2 mods on this thread feel differently about the context in which people say things.

Not that quote itself wasn't rude.
But when you make over 6 threads, spamming the board.. Don't you think that's too much?

To be fair boro, yes some of those threads were a bit much but it only happened because the original threads with legit questions in them were closed prematurely, when they could've been edited as you have done with this thread (which i appreciate as i said)... seeing as those that are closed now will probably never be seen by dawn or other devs (because they will drift off into the nether-regions of the forum past page 4 and 5 never to be seen again)...

    **EDIT**

my concern is that these grievances will NOT be heard by devs if thread closing because someone besides the OP said something a mod felt inappropriate keeps happening. I much prefer the edit/move on option over this type of moderation. No offense meant to anyone, just looking out for the ideas and concerns of my fellow aerie city dwellers.

We're actually in agreement. I won't go into details but actively spamming because you don't get your way isn't appropiate.

If you disagree with a mods decision there are ways. Mainly a PM is the most effective route. Spamming the forums in protest is not and the only person who'd end up suffering is yourself. Some threads die off quickly but that's just how it is. The onus is on you guys to follow the rules if you want to keep discussions open.

Forum Moderators are volunteers and are unable to fix in game problems

getting your own way or answers, again they are different.

Edit:- Question was answered in game.

Can i get a 3 day ban too? no fun here without matt, a biased mod and the only actual employee of tynon who can type never answers questions

I tried that and I didn't get a reply to what I asked in the first place, just the same old "generic" response. Is why I started this thread in the first place, and ty boro for shedding some light btw.
