Patch Preview: New Heroes, New Skills, and a Grand Tournament!

We're not able to give ETAs on projects. This is for 2 reasons:

Second (and more importantly), we use the Agile Method of development which means that based on judgment calls by our developer, things can be completed in a very big hurry during a Sprint. Something that might take another company weeks or months, we can do in days with a Sprint. There might be no movement on other projects while that happens, so we have to always be refreshing our priorities to make sure things don't fall through the cracks.

So why dont u 'sprint' to fix the bugs or give the new heroes people were looking for a long time ago?
taken u a month or so, so im guessing other companies woulda taken a year or 2?
Should only have one priority, to keep the people who pay ur wages happy.

But with that being said if this rolls out b4 xmas i think most will be happy

From beta the ranks major and above have been with out a hero. we received our first new hero about 6 weeks into live. There have been alot of bugs and most have been fixed. There are a few big ones left: GWF,blackwidow elite, power diplay, quests not completing. There has been some updates to graphics story line. This game has actually changed alot since beta. I started a new server and didnt even recognize the beginning of the game any more from what we did on day 1 of live. There have been alot of improvements, there has been a lot of content added. there has been bumps along the way that have been smoothed out and there aren't too many bumps left on the road. But the new heroes should come first above all else, and should come quickly, and we shold not have to wait another 2 and a half months for heroes that have been missing since beta.

I know that I've not attained the higher rank levels yet, nor do I have a full collection of the gold heros. Why would I care if they come out tomorrow or next year? When they are ready they will be ready, and I will know about it. If it takes two and a half months to get the heroes skill attacks right, GREAT! I know people who's main heroes still don't gain morale. Fix that first is what I am thinking... that really would be bad if you never got off a skill shot. I just want to let the Tynon team know that I support you. And take as much time as you need... I don't want to finish this game next week!

I cant' wait that long... lol. I signed up for the beta thinking these guys had stuff together... that we were playing a game not a never ending project. Im sorry to be that guy i really am, but this kind of content should be thought out. Let me say this is not me flaming this is me being frustrated. you guys wanted to know what we really feel Im just saying how i really feel. The waiting process.... it's making me wait to spend time in them game, so im not spending as much time in the game... my issue is not that i dont want to be here, my issue is thazt i DO want to be here, and theres not enough to do... sprints should be over by the time a game goes live... then we're in the long race... my only ssue is that if it is the case that devs are short sprinting that it should have never been taken out of beta.

Let me say this is not me flaming this is me being frustrated. you guys wanted to know what we really feel Im just saying how i really feel. Not to agree just to agree, or be flaming, baiting or trolling..but I actually had to ask one of the mods if this game was still in beta, because all this discussion got me confused, and the one I was on did not seem like a finished product so I thought perhaps I was on the wrong version. If you were being trolling etc., I'll tell ya. I think this is all about Dawnseeker explaining he cannot give a ETA since doing so would mean if it was passed then the mob will gather their torches and pitchforks to storm the castle (it's uCool policy to allow for flexability so that everything can be produced correctly and the you guys benefit from hopefully not having too many bugs). If that ever happens I'm taking a vacation .

Guys, you will have to awaitt the arrival of these new exciting additions just like everyone else. Sip cocktails, take up salsa dancing or watercolour painting, to take your minds off it. The new heroes will be here eventually.

Waiting for a totally brand new feature such as this cross server battle is one thing. I'm fine waiting months and months for an idea like that to come out. Why?? Because it was not part of the regular game to start with. Its a new thing. And its not integral to one's progression in the game.

The heroes for major and above have been missing since beta. They are not a new feature, they are an incomplete feature that should have been available from the beginning, or at least by the time people start reaching those ranks. SO waiting 4 months already plus then having to wait more months is unacceptable to me. These should be a top priority to the dev team in my mind. The only other thing that should even be thinking about is fixing all the bugs that are left. And they have less then 50 days from now to make sure level 7 guild buff works as well, otherwise that will start another uprising in the forums.

I would hope a sprint on all remaining heroes for major and above is in the works. followed by a sprint on every remaining bug, especially GWF, I am tired of seeing every other day another guild lost a city due to a bug in GWF that has existed for months.

What could easily be done here is a handicapped bracket system. You separate these bests by the age of their accounts. And as the brackets consolidate you apply a fair handicap accordingly. It would be similar to what they already do in the Palace every single weekend as you advance up through the statues. So so and so from two month old servers (account age pairs combatants) do battle in their best-of series and the winner takes on a little guy who owns server 91 with random sanctification mods based on the time differential. Similar to Palace statues. This at least ensures the early tournament is all-inclusive. This boosting from Tynon's back end could level each battle.

I don't think Dragonian is gonna like being beaten a few times by a Saffron from server 91 that is a descendent of Jesus though. What is probably gonna happen is exactly how he phrased it. The best from all of Tynon. So mainly you could assume its gonna be a royal rumble spanning 20-30 servers.
