That's how the developer's designed the system to be.
The maximum saintings for each hero type:

Purple heroes - Half Angel V
Gold heroes - Angel V
Leader heroes - Archangel V

I also would like to see increased levels of saintings per hero.
Though I would want to have the percentage of success to be increased.

Tynon needs to do something soon. We are loosing players because they are bored with the game and these changes have not happened. I am bored with the game and the only think that is keeping me there is the interaction with my guild members. These are the reasons that I am bored.

1. The next set of plans I need are Lightbringer Relics. I beat the Mud Giant last week and now fighting the Black Widow Queen. When I beat her, and it will probably be a while, I have to beat 2 more HR bosses to start getting the plans that I need. That could take a long time unless I can get extra power. Beating my head against the wall trying to beat her is not fun.
2. I can not get extra power because:
   
   1. Can not upgrade my equipment (see above)
   2. Can not embed higher jewels because all the sockets have level 4 jewels that cost 100 gems to remove and I refuse to pay that because there was no warning that it would happen when I embedded them and since there is no manual to tell you that the only way to find out is when I tried to remove one and by then it was too late.
   3. Upgrading the the star levels is a joke. I managed to get all my heroes to 8 stars but whenever I tried to go to nine it fails. I have spent a lot of gems on blue medals (have bought over 300 since trying to upgrade my main to 9 stars) and I refuse to spend any more unless there is a better chance to actually get there. Even if I did, the extra power you get is not much.
   4. My heroes are at least Saint V. To upgrade their saint level I need cards and to do that I need to click on the tavern a lot and maybe, if I am lucky, get a card or two each week that I can actually use and most of the time the upgrade fails. Clicking on the tavern is not my idea of fun.
   5. I can upgrade my runes but to do that I have to do a lot of clicking at the rune temple. Clicking at the Rune temple is not my idea of fun.
   6. In the quests I am up to Pursuer that I can not beat because I do not have enough power and can not get it because of the reasons expressed above. In any case the extra power you get for advancing in the quest is not much.
   7. Up leveling gives you a little more power but to get the experience you have to either grind (not fun) or train (not fun).
   8. Waiting for the blacksmith queues to cool down so that I can start the next upgrade is not fun.
   
   
3. Guild Wars is a joke. Our Guild holds all the cities and when we get a challenge is just a matter of garrison B and march on A. Not fun.
4. The arena is a joke. All the top rank players are in my Guild. I am the 2nd strongest player in my Guild so there is no real competition. Doing mindless fighting is not fun. In any case the rewards are useless except when I occasional get Gems as stakes.
5. Cerberus and Baal are a joke. Auto fighting to get plans that I can not use and Jewels that I can not use (see above). Not fun.
6. Rag is a joke. Nothing to do but watch endless battles. Not fun.
7. The lab is the only place that I can get plans to upgrade my equipment, but doing the lab is tedious. Watching the fights against the lab monsters that always end the same way, is not fun. I do have to admit that trying to make it to the end with the most point is some what challenging, but you can only do it twice a day without paying Gems.
8. The Caribbean is a joke. you board a boat and hope that you do not get sunk (only 3 players in my server can sink me). Not fun.
9. Tying to find players that I can attack in the wild to attack is tedious and there are not that many players that I can attack. Not fun.
10. Chasing the lady tedious and the rewards are not worth it. Definitely not fun.
11. Heaven Palace is only once a week and the way that the power uplifts are for each level makes it impossible to get to the highest level. In my server the highest rank player is way ahead of any one else and she can not beat herself to get to the top. Not fun.

So why should I keep on playing the game when it is not fun?

Bosses weren't designed to be easy Andy and making them easy and would kinda diminish the whole point, so keep plugging away you will soon progress. The whole lv4 chip embed thing is a bit steep but lucky for me I chose not to socket my lv4s straight away. Managed to merge 4 lv5s now, yay me!

Stars are costly. I've only got 2 heroes to 7, so your're doing better than me. Tavern is the same for everyone, sometimes it rocks most of the time it sucks. Mind you accumlating those spirits come in handy. Pursuer is a pain, that said I'm lv88 and 16m power and have come close to beating him. Darn it Shayd!!

Everyone has cooldowns, if it's that much of a drag maximise Thor's Thursday. Most players don't give a monkey's about GWs, they value the buffs much more. For them and me included it's worth the Assistant and rewards. Don't join Ragnarok, it's optional and if it's not your thing don't bother.

I like the Laby, it gets my brain matter functioning and again the rewards are worth doing it at least twice a day. It's the thrill of hoping I'll get across in Caribbean Pirates which makes it exciting and as I have much more than 3 players who can sink me I get sunk a lot more than you do Andy.

Don't do Cerb or Baal or just don't boost to get in the top 10. Gem problem solved. Well players have become wise to avoiding other players lurking in the Wilds, if they see a potential threat they leave.

Lady is a bit tedious but we try to make it fun in our guild to past the time. Could do with upping thr rewards a bit but I doubt it'll be changed.

If Tynon is really making you this miserable then it's not the game for you. Try something else.
