Yes, talents benefit all the heroes with the obvious exception that Illuminated Mind only benefits Mages and Physic Amplifier and Strength of Steal does not benefit Mages.
Small caveat: If your mage ever blocks, Strength of Steel should offer some small benefit to the counter attack damage.
