Why cant guild upgrades be like all the other upgrades and give the level b4 cooldown

Why isnt the guild leveling like the talents and blacksmith?
Reach a mammoth amount and then have to wait 50 days to get the rewards?
Cooldown normally happens AFTER something is done.. and not before.

SO 50 days for level 7 guild, 25 days for level 6. Hmm guess level 8 in 100 days.

Man this takes way too long.

Because the last cooldown would be pointless since there's nothing after the level 8 city

This one has always bugged me "Why" do we have to wait such a long time, for the up grade on our guilds! I mean its not like there really doing anything special to the guild as a whole, you not getting a nicer looking building! that I could under stand it a little, if they gave you a better looking building to sort of compensate for some of the time scale needed for the up graded guild!

I think that the current mechanic of guild leveling actually harms competition. No one will leave an established guild to form a new one because it puts them at a long-term disadvantage because they'll take forever to reach lvl5, 6, or 7 status. I'm not entirely certain what the answer is to this, but I do know that it's at least a contribution to server rot.

I like this. Plus we should take our contributions as well with us.

well you get to take your tech with you even if the guild you join has a lower level museum which is good.

But I have been saying before the whole guild level thing needs rethought a bit.

Get rid of the museum all together and just make techs part of the level of the guild.
Reduce the cool downs by a lot
Make it so having a level 1 or 2 guild can get you in GWF
