Why? Simple- Because Tynon don't want people trying to game the system and how it works.

I do know is randomly selected and you won't know when or how it will happen.
There are basically four possibilities.

  1. There is a set time the snapshot is taken.
  2. There is a certain event, perhaps combined with a time, that causes the snapshot to be taken.
  3. The snapshot is taken based on a parameter that is either randomly chosen or configured (or a time range).
  4. The snapshot is manually run by a developer/DBA which is "random enough".
