It's more than plausible 100 blue medals would result in exactly your outcome. In fact, it's statistically likely that 100 blue medals will NOT result in achieving 7 stars for a hero.

toon, and after all is done the toon now has FIVE STARS!! I've gone though over 500 stars total and have

Tynon system is design to waste your gems and to rip U off. Buy or die awaiting for them! Then U loss stars and power. Buy more gems to regain and loss more on everything else ! What bunch of crap! So the best way to do it is buy nothing and just play off what they want U to have as the other favorites will buy and they get their way with everything. That's the way I see it! File a BBB on them and lets see what happens, I have and I'll do it again if I have too! Just my opinion.

Yes that's true. at high star levels (more than 9), the effect is very much felt.
