Suggestion for Chat

I am soooooooo tired of putting a chat message on the wrong chat because I forget to change the button next to the chat window. The problem is that it is not eye catching where the button is set to. If it was color coded, something like the way it is for Guild chat, red for Realm chat, Green with black letters for World chat, and white with black letters for private message, it would help enormously.

These are the suggestion that have been made on this tread so far. I will keep it up to date as new suggestions are made.

1. Color code that button that determines chat you will be typing into or color the text that you are typing in the chat box to match the color of the text in the chat history.
2. Allow copy from the chat history (copy and paste is already allowed in the box where you enter the text. It is not obvious because the text is not highlighted when you select it).
3. Put time stamps on the chat history.
4. When you first enter the game, set the button that determines chat you will be typing into to 'Guild' if the player is in a Guild.
5. VIP Indication in the chat history.

Related but not part of the Chat

1. Allow copy from the mail history (copy and paste is already allowed in the box where you enter the text. It is not obvious because the text is not highlighted when you select it).

This is already available but in the box where you enter the text only. It is not obvious because the text is not highlighted when you select it. It is not available in the Chat or Mail history.

I would also like to see that when you first enter the game, set the button that determines chat you will be typing into to 'Guild' if the player is in a Guild.

A simple solution is to have your text you type show in the color of realm, world or guild instead of white...many games are set up like that and timestamps are needed.. you step away from computer for a bit and come back to see messages that you have no idea how long they have been there.
