A simple solution is to have your text you type show in the color of realm, world or guild instead of white...many games are set up like that and timestamps are needed.. you step away from computer for a bit and come back to see messages that you have no idea how long they have been there.

  2. Allow copy from the chat history (copy and paste is already allowed in the box where you enter the text. It is not obvious because the text is not highlighted when you select it).
  3. Put time stamps on the chat history.
  4. When you first enter the game, set the button that determines chat you will be typing into to 'Guild' if the player is in a Guild.
