You can play on your account, power it up and exchange cash for in game currency (gems). What Tynon offer is a service and most games do have bugs in them. You don't pay a subscription fee, you pay for gems. The service is free and you can't claim money back on something you don't offically own or pay for.

But most games do not have to be patch to add content because the original release did not have enough of it for the users to be able to play at the higher levels, or at least the game limits are documented in the game documentation so you know what you are getting before you spend money. Tynon does not have this because it has no documentation.
