Guild using multiple alt guilds to outbid competitors

On Server 12 Fist of the Kraken the guild Gauntlet uses multiple alt guilds to outbid their competitors. It is so unsportsmanlike and leaves the people who actually enjoy playing the game feeling a bit used and abused. They are so blatant they actually named one of their alt guilds "Maps R Us". They bid extremely high in order to outbid any true bids. I don't want a nice email saying you are looking in to it. I want a fair shot at enjoying the fun of guild wars with my guild mates. Being outbid by another actual guild is one thing, losing to a guild of alts who's only goal is to ruin the game for others is another. I never would have spent any money on this game had I known Tynon would allow such behavior. And NO I don't want to move to another server and start over. That is not how to get me to spend more money.

i agree with nytewynd on this. it truly makes playing the game unfair and tedious. gauntlet has about 6 alt guilds to do this and makes it unfair to the rest of us and some have put a lot of money into this game. I understand that it is kind of the point but why can't the other servers do guild wars like server 1, by realm. it would make it more fun and would probably bring more people to the game.

I couldn't agree more. Gaunlet has a total of 4 battles tonight, 3 with alt guilds and one they allow a friend on Fire Realm to have since that host is personal friends with Gauntlets bought and paid for powerhouse. We have all devoted a lot of time and energy to playing this game, none of us wants to not be able to play because somebody else is a poor sport.

I couldn't agree more with what the posters above have said. it's just doesn't seem like good sportsmanship by Gaunlet to be allowed to use there alts guilds to outbid any real bids. I play this game for fun and not win any cost like some do.

I don't want to fight about this here. but C&C and karma Cafe both bid too.
So Legends has alt guilds too. They just don't use them to block bid.
Is your real trouble with alts or getting outbid ?

Our real trouble is a bunch of poor sports that use their alts to block bid so that you don't have to face any real competition. Why be such poor sports? It's a game, why not let it be fun for others to play? If your guild leaders are so worried about facing anybody else why don't they go play farmville?

as to your response there... the alt guild we have when we bid on GW with those it is to get the rewards from playing the battle itself. there is no way that our alt guild would actually be any kind of threat to gauntlet itself. but to outbid the main guild with an alt guild is just plain poor showmanship. it shows that gauntlet doesn't want a chance of losing a city. and at any rate it shows just how scared of the real guild you are cause it seems as though LEGENDS is the only guild that gauntlet doesn't want to face.

Both those guilds, very rarely bid and never won and are used for maps and all know this. And the Problem is Alt guilds outbidding REAL guilds with active players.. Basically Gauntlet battles themselves more than they have REAL battles.

The main problem that I see with this complaint is that we fight Legends all the time. And we usually win.
