well i find that stupid, unless theres a better purple hero than calvin and cianna. im not switching them out. and my gold heros isnt going anywhere, other than the new heros, the meld thing was the only thing i liked. now i dont like it.... so nothing will be changing for me.

so far this patch has nothing i even useful to me. im fine with what i have...

I don't think you know anything about the new update yet.

If you did, you'd know that there's a purple hero that can do the Thousand Strikes skill. And that's just for starters.

Flavius is horrible, can't see anyone with Adamanti using him, which is why none of the top players on beta use him. He is just a poor man's Adamanti. Calvin and Cianna, on the other hand, have utility in a variety of roles still, especially world bosses, heroic bosses, and the new royal arena bosses.

Nothing wrong with him, just eventually he will be replaced by Adamanti. He is good, but late-game would never make it into the 8-hero lineup. Cianna and Calvin are still the most useful purple heroes because of their utility in certain events and bosses.

Why not use both Flavius and Adamanti in your lineup?

A few of my guildies have Flavius, and after testing him out were not impressed with his performance and felt King Theseus was much more effective. On a side-note, due to the Championship Warfare some players have a full set of Sirius gear already. This means they will be using Thousand Strikes every round... scary!

That's true. Though the low level of their gears mean that those skill attacks won't be damaging much yet.
There are more ways to skill every round, other than having a sirius set.

But that involves exposing them to damage, so they may die quicker or be stunned =/
