It was a perfectly reasonable move, it just bit him in the posterior this time. Had it happen to me twice. Once after I got a +8 moves with no negatives. Only move I had in that case was either through a teleporter or through two empty squares due to blocked squares. That was ... painful.

In my experience a teleport with that much of the lab explored is counterproductive. Not only can you end up in a dead tile, but in an are of the map you do not want to be, like the unexplored area in the top left in the picture. In my opinion the risk is not worth the extra 5 points.

I generally avoid them but with less then 1/3rd of his Lab done? Naw, I would have taken the chance especially if I had to move through other, less desirable squares. I probably wouldn't have wasted a change tile either, not for that.

I hit a teleport to the end boss on the third move once. 75 points

The worst ones are getting surrounded by a bunch of destinies and getting boxed in and not being able to make it. The worst was 400 points at 20 moves left and a boat load of destinies that ate up all my moves, since I didn't want to waste gems.
